Abstract | ||
The research aims at : Constructing theoretical cognition test for the defensive tactics in basketball for 4th year students / college of sport education / Mosul university. Setting standard degrees for the theoretical cognition test for the Defensive tactics in Basketball for 4th year Students / college of sport education / Mosul university The researcher has adopted the descriptive methodology with the correlating relationships for its convenience to the nature of the research . The research community includes 4th year students as (161) students .On the other hand , the research samples include the construction sample (100) students divided into : reliability sample (30) , survey experiment (10) , discrimination power (60) , while the application sample includes (114) students . The means of collecting data : the researcher has used the questionnaire , analysis , collecting data , and testing as means of collecting data . The tests include : the test of theoretical cognition of the defensive tactics in basketball . The research has required constructing this test for the 4th year students / college of sport education . The construction steps include ( preparing the initial form , preparing the test items on their initial form , finding the scientific features (the jury’s validity and self- validity)of the test , reliability coefficient and the statistical analysis of the items ( ease and difficulty coefficient , and the internal harmony among test items ) as well as finding the key of correctness for test items ). The researcher has used the statistical means : arithmetic means , mode, standard deviation , inversion coefficient , simple correlation coefficient , the assumptive mean of the test , ease and difficulty coefficient , discrimination coefficient and percentage ). The most important results obtained by the researcher are : The cognitive test of the defensive tactic in basketball for 4th year students / college of sport education is a subjective means can guide us in evaluating students . Adopting the standard degrees in evaluating 4th year students in the defensive tactic in basketball . The most important recommendations are : Adopting the cognitive test of the defensive tactics in basketball as a means of evaluating data relating 4th year students / college of sport education.
