| Abstract | ||
| The aim of this project was to study the effect of using elastic ropes in teaching (front-support kipp) on the horizontal bar to beginning gymnastic student. The hypothesis was that using elastic ropes has a significant positive effect on teaching (front-support kipp) on the horizontal bar. The subject were (54) third class students at the college of sport education – university of Baghdad. Those subjects were divided in to an experimental group using elastic ropes as teaching aid, and a control group not using the elastic ropes as teaching aid. Both experimental and control groups followed the same teaching method in learning the skill on the horizontal bar. Results showed a significant positive effect of using elastic ropes as teaching aid. The researcher recommended the use of elastic ropes as a teaching aid for teaching (front-support kipp) on other gymnastic apparatus (the rings and parallel bars) ,he also recommended providing teachers and coaches with those ropes by importing them or manufacturing them locally. | ||
