Abstract | ||
The present study aims at determine the role of Nineveh Directorate of Agriculture (agricultural employees) in management of the pesticides pollution in generally, and to identify the role of employees to carry out activities related to the management of pesticide pollution problem as well as the study of the relationship among the key role of the agricultural employess in the management of pesticide pollution and all the personal and functional characteristics. The community of study was include the agricultural staff that distributors on (21) agricultural division of Nineveh province was (210) agricultural employees, the sample of agricultural employees was taken by (50%) of (105) agricultural employees whom their specialty related with problem of study. The questionnaire used as a tool to data collect that contain the scale to determine the role level of agricultural employess in the management of problem pesticide pollution contained of (24) questions accordance with the four-grading scale "large role", "medium role", "small role" and "no role", and results reached that the role of agricultural extension agents in the problem management of the pesticides pollution in general average by (67%). So that the efforts should be combining and make greater by agricultural extension agents for the agricultural environment advancement and Elimination from excessive use of pesticide, which may reflect negatively on the production and human health in the future. | ||
