Abstract | ||
The aim of the research is to identify (productive thinking among fourth-grade students in mathematics); The research sample consisted of (333) male and female students from the fourth scientific students in the middle and secondary schools of the General Directorate of Anbar Education in the city of Ramadi, the governorate center, of whom (153) male and (180) female students, the researcher prepared a test of productive thinking in mathematics from ( 34) paragraphs, including (9) essay paragraphs representing creative thinking skills (fluency, originality, flexibility), and (25) objective paragraphs representing critical thinking skills (interpretation, imposing assumptions, evaluating arguments, deduction, conclusion), and verified its characteristics. Psychometrics, and after applying the test to the sample, the results showed: that the level of productive thinking among students of the fourth scientific in mathematics is weak, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students in the productive thinking test in mathematics in the gender variable (males, females) in favor of male students. | ||
