Abstract | ||
The media had and still has an important role in making, fueling and changing many societal issues, including the issue of civil peace and what is expressed as a concept in maintaining security and rejecting killing and fighting and calling for it or inciting it, orally, or by publishing, broadcasting or sending media messages through the media. Traditional or social media, which call for collision, breach of security, and violation of state sovereignty, the research deals with issues of civil peace, whether political or military, combating terrorism, or human rights, and their relationship to civil peace, and their use in a new type of specialized journalism, which is data journalism, its purpose, and the geographical area of topics. On the Sky News Arabia website. (Civil peace in data journalism, Sky News Arabia is a model). The researcher reached conclusions, including: that most issues of civil peace are of a political nature, the site’s lack of interest in human rights issues related to civil peace, and the site’s interest in both Arab and international events. Among the most prominent results: the need to adopt objectivity in dealing with issues of civil peace and non-alignment with certain parties to achieve credibility, as well as the need to give greater importance to human rights issues related to civil peace | ||
