Abstract Through the experience of the researchers along with their recognition of the educational process concerning this material، they noticed that a great number of teachers are neither following nor applying modern strategies in the field of training and teaching practical lessons، but they are merely relying on teacher recitation and student listening in the educational process، while modern strategies encourage the teaching and learning to be carried at the same time. Here lies the importance of the study as it contributes in providing teachers of physical education with the generative learning strategy which might help in increasing the skillful and cognitive achievements of their students in the field of sports as well as developing learning methods and approaches. The paper aims at finding out The Effectivity of Using Generative Learning Strategy in Learning the Skills of Rolling and Scoring in Futsal among Female Students. The researchers embraced the experimental method and adopted the two groups design; experimental and controlling with pre and post tests، i.e.، measuring the two groups before and after the experiment. The study population is deliberately chosen from third year female students in the college of Physical Education/ University of Diyala in the academic year 2014-2015. While the sample of the study is randomly selected via cards drawing، and comprised (15) female students. Moreover، tests that are conducted in the study include; rolling and scoring accuracy tests. Working according to the teaching approach with the sample of the study started in Monday 17/11/2014 and ended in Monday 9/3/2015 as it was applied on members of the experimental group. It comprised (24) teaching units for the period of (12) weeks، two units per week each Monday and Tuesday for (90) minutes each. The work in concordance to the generative learning strategy is in the main part of the educational unit which is lasting for (70) minutes، four exercises are given in each unit. The researchers concluded that embracing the generative learning strategy has proven effective in learning the skills of rolling and scoring. They، then، recommend adopting this strategy by specialists in the field of kinetic learning of all skills، in single and team games alike. | ||
