This experiment was carried out in Technical Institute of Al-Shatrah during season 2015-2016 in Silty soil (clay percentage (0%), the proportion of silt (89%), sand ratio (11%) to study the effect of two types of plows and different plowing speed in some field technical indications and some types soil physical properties. Two types of plows were used in the experiment, (Mold board plow, Dick plow) and different plowing speeds (3.5, 4.7, 5.9) km. h-1 and depth (20-24 cm). The experiment was performed to study the effect of both factors as well as the interaction between them in slippage percentage, practical productivity, volume of disturbed soil , and consumption. A split-plot RCBD was used with three replications. The results showed that there were significant differences of the type of the plow in all the studied characteristics except actual production, the disc plow gave the highest percentage slip (15.53 %) and the lowest rate of field efficiency ( 66.63%), while the Mold board plow gave lowest percentage slip (7.93%). so this plow gave highest rates for actual productivity (0.408 h. hr-1) and for plowed soil (645.69 m3 .hr-1). The speeds of plowing had significant differences for plowed soil and actual production, the results also showed a significant overlap between the practical experience in all the characteristics except actual production. | ||
