Abstract | ||
This study was conducted at poultry breeding field of the general committee of agricultural research Ministry of agriculture (Abu-Ghraib) from 9/9/2015 till 14/10/2015 to investigate the effect of Melissa and Laurus leaf meal and the artificial antioxidant (vitamin E) on physiological and productive traits of pullets. Four hundreds and fifty unsexed pullets of Ross-308 strain were used. They were randomly assigned. The experiment consisted of 6 treatments with 75 chicks per treatment divided in to 3 replicates (25 chic per replicate). The transactions are as follows. The first treatment- negative control. The second treatment- positive control. Addition of vitamin E at 300 mg/ km feed. Third treatment- addition of Melissa leaf meal at 3g/ km feed. Fourth treatment- addition of Melissa leaf meal at 6g/ km feed. Fifth treatment- addition of Laurus leaf meal at 3g/ km feed. Sixth treatment- addition of Laurus leaf meal at 6 g/ km feed | ||
