Abstract | ||
A field experiment was conducted at marshes of Algmokh, Alshatra district, province of Dhi Qar, south of Iraq, during growing season of 2011.The objective of the study was to revealed effect of methods (drip or furrow) and levels(60% or 100% of evaporation pan) of irrigation water on available P movement in soils, Soil samples were collected at depths of 0-15,15-30 and 30-45 cm and horizontally at distances of 0- 10,10-20 and 20-30cm from plants, during four stages 14(V4),42 (V12), 63(silking) and 105( R3)days of corn plant germination , Available P in soil samples was determined. Results of study showed that available P-movement in soil depends on level and application methods of irrigation water, P concentration and movement in soil horizontally and vertically increased as moisture level increased from 60 to 100% of evaporation pan and was significantly higher in drip irrigation than of furrow irrigation method . | ||
