Abstract | ||
The study aimed to determine body mass index between the Universities of Soran and Halabja students and to make comparisons between them. To achieve this study was conducted on a sample of (1877) students from the departments and Vcltiat Universities (Soran and Halabja), involved the research sample and the number (491) students representing percentage of (26.15%) of the total research community in both universities, where the number of research sample of Soran / Soran University (243) students representing a percentage of (32.31%) of the total research community totaling (752) students, and sample Find Halabja /Halabja University's (248) students representing a percentage of (22.04%) of the total research and community's (1125) students, applied to them BMI equation: Body mass index ((kg / m 2) = weight (kg) / (height in meters) 2 In order to analyze the results used averages, and t-test for independent groups, In light of international standards results showed that measurements of variables (age, weight, height) in the natural level of the sample Soran University students and Halabja. The body mass index (BMI) in the normal level of the sample Soran University students and Halabja, but was a body mass index of students Soran University level greater than the University of Halabja. The highest level of body mass index (BMI) of students at the University of Soran but higher BMI level (BMI) of the students were in Halabja University. The lowest body mass index level (BMI) of students in the University of Halabja and also the lowest body mass index level (BMI) of students were in Halabja University. There were no significant differences between the (students and students) to sample the Universities of Soran and Halabja in favor of Soran University with a non-significant differences between (students) to sample the Universities of Soran and Halabja in favor of the University of Halabja. The researcher recommended number of recommendations, including: the deployment of health and sports culture more among students, E. result of a study on a larger sample from different universities students to assess the health condition of those .agrae Communities Study on Older sample and in other academic levels and linked with other variables (learning speed, response reaction, health, food ...). | ||
