| Abstract | ||
| The experiment was carried out in one of the orchards date palm station at Qurna region of the Public Authority for Nakheel, located north of Basra for the growing season 2012. To study the effect of spraying three levels of phosphorus (zero, 100, 200) mg / L / offshoot, and three levels of proline (zero, 100, 200) mg / l / offshoot, and interaction on vegetative characteristics of date palms cv. Aljbjab. The results showed spray treatment with phosphorus concentration of 200 mg / l / offshoot gave a significant effect in vegetative characteristics (number of Palme, Palme length, Alkhosh length and width) and the content of the Palme of the major elements nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium and content of carbohydrates compared other treatment. The proline treatment was a significant effect at 200 mg at all of the above qualities characteristics compared to other treatments, and the interaction between treatment was a significant in all characteristics study | ||
