Abstract | ||
We have studied the effect of annealing on the structural and optical properties of (CuO)1-x(Fe2O3)x thin films with (x=0.05), deposited on preheated glass substrates at temperature of (390C˚), and thickness (200nm) by chemical spray pyrolysis technique. XRD measurements revealed that all the deposited thin films were polycrystalline. The optical transmittance (T%) in the wavelength range (300-900) nm was measured. These films show direct allowed transition, and it also found that the energy band gap has been decreased from about (2.50eV) before annealing to about (1.85eV) after annealing. Optical parameters such as reflectance, refractive index, extinction coefficient and real and imaginary parts of the dielectric constant are investigated before and after annealing, it was found that all these parameters were affected by annealing. | ||
