Indoor radon measurements in total of 40 samples from dwelling, distributed in the suburb of Bait-Wafi, using two types of SSNTDs radon monitors. The objective of this measurement in to get representative indoor radon data of region closed to Basrah sport city (BSC). A hybrid calibration method between active and passive methods have been used in this work. It was found that the calibration factor for CR-39 is 0.0961 ± 0.0089 T/(〖cm〗^2.d) per 1 Bq m^(-3). The average radon concentrations in dwellings was 192.9 Bq/m3, which is in the range of recommended value for the region. | ||
