Abstract | ||
The experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of shear cutting angle, depth and tractor speeds on some technical performance parameters for mole plow in the experimental filed of agricultural college, University of Baghdad in 2010. Two Tractor speeds included 3.25 km/hr and 7.06 km/hr which represented the main plot, three depths included 20,30,40 cm which represented sub plot and three shear cutting angles for mole plow included( 25, 30, 35) degree which represented sub -sub plot. horse power, fuel consumption and loosen area were studied in this experiment. Split- split plot design under Randomized complete block design with three replication was used in this study. Least significant difference 0.05 level used to compare the means of treatments. The results were as follow: Increasing speeds of tractor from(3.25-7.06) km/hr caused significantly increased of loosen area and it decreased fuel consumption, Increasing depth of plowing (20-30-40)cm caused significantly increased loosen area, increasing Shear cutting angle from 25 degree and 30 degree and 35 degree showed significant effect and performance indicators for mole plow. 30degree angle gave higher value of loosen area. Also 25degree angle gave lower value of horse power, fuel consumption. | ||
