1. Thaqafat Al Mufassir in Zarqashi's "Al Burhan fi Uloom Al Quran". By Dr. Layla Muhammad Masud where she mentioned the general and special education of the interpreter. 2. Making an Interpretation Ability. Dr. Al Shareef Hatim bin Arif Al Auni wrote an essay entitled "Making an Interpretation Ability" where he put forth a practical plan to make such an ability. This paper most resembles mine except the fact that I focused on the general framework rather than details of the subject. 3. Essays of Prof. Hameeda Al Nafeer particularly his symposiums "Modern Methods of Quranic Study" and "Islamic Sciences, a Crisis of Methods or of Reveelation?". 4. Recent books and essays of Dr. Taha Jabir Al Alwani. Problems of the Study: - Is it possible to make new entrances of a modern interpretive mind? - How can we deal with the new alien readings of the Quran? Are they fruitful as a positive incentive of Muslims to wake up? - What are the modern Quranic studies that relate a present-day Muslim to the Holy Quran? Are there modern examples? | ||
