Abstract | ||
In the event of the commission of the prisoner offense punishable by disciplinary from the presence of the penal administration, should be given guarantees of a fair proceeding along the lines of the safeguards imposed in the criminal trial, as to ensure fair proceedings of the prisoner set of rights, he may, for example, the right to appeal the judgment before him, and has the right to have this reasoned judgment, and have the right to counsel in disciplinary offenses approaching criminal offenses in terms of magnitude, and have the right to examine witnesses and other rights, and in spite of the evolution of the punitive treatment of prisoners, but there are traces of harshness and severity still hardwired mar this treatment and cast a shadow on the most important principle that must govern the punitive treatment of prisoners, which it may not be subjected to any prisoner to any form of cruel and inhuman or degrading scratch human dignity and degrade his humanity, the prisoner lost his right to freedom, but it do not lose his right to physical integrity and treated as a human being, starting, something must be guaranteed by law. | ||
