Abstract | ||
The requirements of approaching the high levels have increased according to the nature of the practiced activity for those with the special needs. The anthropometric dimensions for the upper limbs are one of the completing requirements to reach the high levels at the javelin throw activity; due to the fact that there are physical qualities for each game or sport activity, then those qualities are to be observed when selecting the athletes. However, those qualities are not the only requirement to reach the high levels (standards) as the correlation between the anthropometric dimensions, the mechanical laws, fitness, the planned and skilful performance and other variants determine the result of any competition. Despite this activity requires skilful abilities, it requires at the same time physical abilities and special body qualities in order to face the variable (changing) circumstances in the activity which leads to the importance of the research in the study of the anthropometric dimensions of the upper limbs and their relation with the kinematic qualities and the performance of the javelin throw activity for the disabled (category F 35, 54, 55) women. This what shows their classification where the category (F 55, 54) includes: sitting, amputation or the cerebral palsy of the lower limbs; whereas category (F55) includes: sitting, amputation and mobster palsy 1 in which different anthropometric dimensions are observed for the female players. The Research aims to the following: •Knowing some anthropometric dimensions for the upper limbs, the kinematic qualities and the performance for the activity of javelin throw for the disabled category (F 55, 54, 35) women. •Knowing some anthropometric dimensions for the upper limbs and the kinematic qualities for the activity of javelin throw for the disabled category (F 55, 54, 35) women. •Knowing the relation between the anthropometric dimensions for the upper limbs and the performance for the activity of javelin throw for the disabled category (F 55, 54, 35) women. The researchers assumed the following: •There is a correlation relationship of statistic significant between some anthropometric dimensions for the upper limbs and the kinematic qualities for the activity of javelin throw for the disabled category (F 55, 54, 35) women. •There is a correlation relationship of statistic significant between some anthropometric dimensions for the upper limbs and the performance for the activity of javelin throw for the disabled category (F 55, 54, 35) women. The research fields were formed from the following: •The Humane Domain (Sphere): the female players of Al-Qadissiya Governorate team who participated in the country championship. •The Spatial Domain: the training center for the Paralympic Committee. •The Temporis (Time) Domain: the period from Dec 10, 2010 to March 23, 2011. Researchers used the descriptive approach and the style of the correlative relations for its suitability to the nature of the research. The number of players in the research sample was three female players (one for each category according to their classification – F 55, 54, 35). Each player was given ten tries (so the total number of tries becomes 30) these have been analyzed and their variants have been taken out (extracted). After conducting the reconnaissance experiment, the main experiment was conducted and the data was treated statistically via using the arithmetic mean, deviation percentage and the simple correlation coefficient. The researchers concluded the following: 1.The kinetic problems that accompany performing this activity can be discovered by detecting the anthropometric dimensions during the performance through the correlation of the studied values in a sequential manner; the second is affected by the first and so on; therefore, suitable solutions can be put for these problems. 2.It has proved that the main stage which is represented by the throwing stage directly affects the skill target through the anthropometric dimensions for the player in the performance. 3.The kinematic chain which is formed in the upper limbs and connected via the effective joints in performing the skill through the correlation results which have appeared. | ||
