Abstract | ||
The seasonal variation of chemical composition of shrimp Metapenaeus affinis and Parapenaeopsis stylifera were studied from January 2011 to November 2011,the samples were collected from the north west Arabian Gulf56+. The maximum percentage of protein in the species M. affinis is 19.42% in spring 2011, while the maximum percentage of lipids 2.01% in Winter 2011 for the same species . The maximum percentage of protein of P. stylifera is 21.52% in spring , while the maximum percentage of lipids of this species is 2.00 % in Autumn , the percentage of ash and moisture is also shows seasonal variations | ||
