Abstract | ||
The research aims to identify the impact of using the japans entrance in the achievement of 1st year intermediate pupils of biology and their towards it . In order to verify the aim of the research, formulate the following two hypotheses: 1-There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group pupils who studied according to the Japans entrance and the average score for the control group pupils who studied according to the traditional way in the achievement test . 2-There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group pupils who studied according to the Japans entrance and the average score for the control group pupils who studied according to the traditional way in the scale of their trends towards the biology subject . Experimental design was chosen with the partial adjustment of the two groups ( experimental and control ) an equal number that control one other relevant post-test , the number of members of the sample ( 62 ), a pupil in a secondary( Al-Adnaniya ) for girls, represented the experimental group (31) school girl who taught according to the Japans entrance , and ( 31) a student in the control group that studied in the traditional way, equalize both groups ( experimental and control) in the variable as (achievement school , previous information , their trends towards biology .) Applied experience in the first semester of the academic year ( 2012 to 2013 ) and took (12) a weeks . It Have been prepared (20) daily teaching plan for the experimental group and organized in accordance to the Japans entrance and another plan to the control group which organized according to the traditional method, and then it was presented a model on each of them to the experts . To achieve the first aim , it have been prepared achievement test objective type multiple – choice with four alternatives consist of ( 40 ) has been verified the face validity by submitting it to the experts and jury members and content through the preparation of the map test , it was calculated their reliability by using the kuder Richardson -20 formula reached ( 0,89 ) was to find a coefficient of difficulty level and power of discriminatory and effective alternatives to the test items. To check out the second aims of research prepare a scale to their trends towards the biology subject consist of (38) items , has been verified the face validity . it was calculated their reliability by using Alpha Cronbach formula which it is reached (0, 83). Data were statistically treated using a (t-test) for two independent samples with an equal number, the results showed the superiority of the experimental group that studied according to the japans entrance to their peers in the control group , which they studied according the usual way in the achievement test , and so the researcher recommends using the Japans entrance in teaching the biology and suggests further studies of the stages and different subjects to identify the impact of different variables . | ||
