| Abstract | ||
| The study aimed to : 1- Identifying the relationship between sports identity and creative thinking among basketball players . 2- Understand the relationship between sports identity and free throw for basketball players. The researchers hypothesized : 1- There is a correlation between athletic identity in creative thinking among basketball players. 2- There is a correlation between athletic identity in free throw for basketball players. It has been used a descriptive approach to its relevance to the nature of the research, and included the research community on the (24) players representing the club Tuz sports for the sports season 2011-2012, the researchers used ((arithmetic mean, standard deviation and correlation coefficient)) in the treatment of statistical data that have been obtained, and the researchers found to the following conclusions; . There is a clear impact of sports on the identity creative thinking- - There is a positive impact of identity at the level of sports performance basketball free throw. The researchers recommended the following; - Attention creative thinking training for basketball players to have a significant role in improving the skill level of basketball players. - The introduction of basketball players in developmental courses and the introduction of sports programs extension of identity to perceive the self-concept of basketball players . - Conduct studies and other research, and other samples and linking creative thinking. | ||
