Abstract | ||
Has confirmed many of the scientists and researchers that self-concept is the cornerstone of personal and that the main function is to seek integration and consistency of personal to be disabled adapted to the environment in which they live and distinct where the identity of the others and that the most important functions of the self is to work on the unity and cohesion of personal and distinguish an individual from another , and reflected the importance of research in the need to learn self-concept in the life of the disabled to its important role in the formation of their personality as it is important substrate in such personal and because of its prominent role in the upgrading of disabled athletes at the level of performance and achievement Research problem : - The construction and application of self-concept scale for disabled athletes in clubs with disabilities in the province of Baghdad in Iraq, and to identify the level of self-concept have . Research objectives : Was addressed to the self-concept, and theories that explain the concept of self-worth, and self-sections and dimensions . Research methodology and procedures of the field: The researcher used the descriptive survey manner as to ensure research procedures building measure . Main conclusions : . a measure of current ability to measure self-concept among disabled athletes-1 . 2- a measure of self-concept distributed on six levels has occurred at the level of the sample (self-concept over the middle and average), and the recommendations the researcher recommends the following : 1- Adoption of the current measure as a tool to detect the level of self-concept among disabled athletes . 2- develop a positive self-concept and consolidation among disabled athletes because of its importance in performance and achievement | ||
