| The narratee is a relatively new field of study in contemporary narrative theory. The narratee was long neglected in the study of fictional narrative. It was considered as merely a recipient of the narration. There are various types and categories of the narratee in fiction according to the few studies of this essential element of narrative fiction. This study seeks to uncover the status of the narratee in Radwa Ashur's historical novels with particular reference to its connection to the narrator and reader. | ||
