Dr. Ali Sayadani M.A. Siddiqueh Assadi Abstract Masnavi-ye Manavi is one of the masterpieces of Persian literature which Molana Jalal - e - Din Balkhi has composed. One of the factors which has increased the beauty and attractiveness of the poems, is the use of color. Using colors among the lines of Masnavi has definite reasons and special purpose. In addition to describing the nature of colors, Molavi’s purpose is the interpretation of human different moods and natural environment in different situations. He has used simile, metaphor, irony and symbol. The most used color in Molavi’s poems is yellow and the least used one is white. Key words: Masnavi, Molavi, color, the first volume of the poems | ||
