China is one of the main countries that the Abbasid Caliphs devoted their efforts to make diplomatic , economic and cultural ties for it was one of the developed countries at that time and had a great civilization. They wanted to make use of its experience in industrial , commercial field and also architecture . And the government of China had the same motives , therefore it encouraged its trade through travelling to Baghdad , which was the prosperous city of the Islamic World at that time. They were very conscious to make strong and good ties with the Abbasid reign. So they sent ambassadors and deputies to the Abbasid court. The cooperation between the two countries was clear on all levels. These strong relations continued for about four centuries. There was a mixed cultural and social process between the people of the two countries because of the marriage relations and settlement. All that enriched the Islamic Arabic culture by the intellectual and cultural data since the middle ages till nowadays. | ||
