Abstract | ||
Research aimed to determine the level of knowledge to farmers oranges with the recommendations of scientific servicing the crop, and determine the level of knowledge in each axis of the axes Service crop, and determine the relationship between the level of cognitive Growers orange and some independent factors, and to achieve the objectives of the research were prepared form questionnaire in the light of the review of the researcher of the literature and the views of experts and consent by and consisting of two parts The first part of which independent factors mentioned above, while the second part has included a measure to know growers orange with the recommendations of scientific servicing yield and consisting of 48 items distributed on six axes: 1. irrigation 2. fertilization 3. pruning 4. Vaccination 5. pest control 6. genie reached the upper 48 degree and minimum degree zero. The data were collected in the months June and July and August / 2013 brokered a questionnaire and personal interview in a manner of proportional stratified random sample of orange growers by 20% and by 60 respondents. Results showed that the average degree of cognitive level pan respondents to the recommendations of the scientific servicing crop amounted to 25.07 degrees, and 60% of the respondents were degrees of knowledge within the cognitive level average, as the results showed the presence of cognitive level average by the respondents in each axis of the axes Service crop, as show a correlation significantly between the cognitive level of the respondents and each of the independent variables (age, area of orchard planted with orange trees, experience in the field of cultivation of oranges, exposure to sources of agricultural information relevant to oranges) and the relationship is not significant between the cognitive level of the respondents and each of the independent variables (level of education, Type the possession of the orchard, the annual income of oranges.) and the most important thing recommend doing research work to raise the level of knowledge to farmers orange through the intensification of agricultural extension activities of different (training courses, seminars guideway, releases guidance) to increase the knowledge and information growers orange with the recommendations of scientific servicing crop, and encourage the development and cultivation of oranges during the followers of modern scientific methods in agriculture and service trees and reap winning and marketed. | ||
