Achievement has been the cenre of attention of educationalists and psychologists. In addition to student's parents. Most of thear used to believe that the mental factors are most education and psychology hav related saccess to other variables, like motivation, Learning typco, memerizatin haits, personal traits,etc. Hence, ther arose the impor fance of the present research which in concerned with determining the recationship between achievement on one hand and study habits and achievement motivation on the other; it falls into anumber of sections. The ferst section in concerned with the research importance and objectives. The scond a literature review. Section three in about methedology and procedures that include the study society and (iso male ?? female secodary students), the two instruments: a 149 item questionnaire ?? 28 item achievement mativation fest. In additivn, this sechin comprisen the statistical analsis. The final sechin gives the research results. The resarch ends wice a number of recommendations including the activaluion of counselg programmes to help students recognize to the sound study habits.
