Abstract | ||
The aim of present research is to know the effects of popular folklore tales on composition of fifth grade primary school girls. The researcher used Post Serial Tests to measure the achievement of the girls involved in the study which were divided in two groups ( experimental and controlled ) . These tests are valid and reliable. The sample of this study was taken from the centre of Najaf Governorate during the year 2009-2010 .The researcher used the correction criteria developed by Al-Rawi 1995 .Two criteria were derived ; the first was the agreement through time, and the second was the agreement with another corrector . The results showed that the experimental group which studied the composition by Folklore tales obtained higher scores than the control group which studied the composition by ordinary method .The superiority of experimental group may attribute to the following factors : 1 – Teaching by the use of Folklore Tales Technique motivates the girls to learn . 2 – The Folklore Tales help the girls to maintain the information in their minds for a longer period . | ||
