Abstract | ||
The development in societies has led to the development in the educational thought which has in itself led to the development of the idea about the teacher and his roles. He is no longer a transmitter of knowledge to the learners or a connecter between the scholastic book and the learners' minds. Teachers are revealed to have new important roles as organizers for the educational process and supporters of the students for self-learning. Active teaching depends on the personality of the teacher, knowledge of his teaching material, and skills which he teaches. He must also have the ability to give information and help the students precisely acquire the various learning skills to be useful to themselves and the society. Hence, this research is important because it identifies the active teaching in the College of Basic Education and how the students get benefit from acquiring the skills of teaching. | ||
