Abstract | ||
The research deals with an important subject in the modern and contemporary history during the reign of the Malaysian prime minister Tinko Abdel Rahman (1957-1970) who is the first prime minister in Malaysia and who exerted great effort in getting its independence from Britain on August 31, 1957. Tinko worked to unite Malaysia when he was able to get the independence of the western states which are (Perlis, Kida, Kelantan, Pinang, and others) putting them under the name the Malaya Union. He became the first prime minister after getting the independence from Britain so he joined the east of Malaysia and Singapore on September 16, 1963. The country came to be known as Malaysia but it was before called Malaya | ||
