Abstract | ||
This research sheds light on one the Spanish orientalists in the eighth century who lived in Damascus for many years and was a teacher at the school of (Fraciscaniss) in the city.It also highlights the missionary school in the Middle East. Canis has put his dictionary to those students who were studying in that schools which were regarded as a missionary centersin in these areas. Canis has Kept to us most technical terms of military and civilian in the Levant، has been drawing us، and he map of the path traveled by starting from the city of Alicante in Spain through Marseilles، as well as the cities that are located in Tunis، Cairo and other Arabian capitals. Hetold us about Acre، Sidon and other cities even arriving in the Levant Ashe mentioned tous by former teachers and Arab Evangelist Christian centers in the cast. He kept to us vocabulary colloquial Arabic in the Levant along classlcal Arabic and Spanish as a Spanish cleric، and also he provided us the vocabulary of Latin. Through the lexicon we highlighted on his educationallife in Spain and his role in the famous culturaland educational School in Damascus which vaccinated by the Spanish culture. | ||
