Abstract | ||
This research is a serious attempt to probe the thought of Al-Jahiz and read his implied opinions and ideas. He either expressed them explicitly or implicitly, told a story of social critic, author, philosopher and wise man, who wished his society to be better and purer, and to live typically. So, that Arabian thinker and Mu’tazili writer told accurately about many matters. For instance, he wrote a book about “The Misers”, in which he told many stories about misery and misers, and he analyzed that disadvantage feature and considered it accidental and not proper for the Arabs who were well-known for their generosity, openhandedness, courage and sacrifice. In all his writings, he rested on Quran, Prophetic Tradition and Arabic poetry and prose. Rarely could any nation have an author or a writer like Al-Jahiz, who had an intellectual system enriching the Arabian culture by social reaction, affection and influence among various cultures. | ||
