Sixteen genotypes of sun flower (Helianthus annuus L.) were planted in 17/2/2012Inan agricultural field in the city of tikrit/salah aldeen prorince on 43.68 length lines and 34.59 cross lines by using RCBD experiment with three replicates, to aimed of evalution of these genotypes through correlations study and forming several selection indexes with estimate the expected exceeding in grain yield . showed highly significant positive genetic correlation of grain yield with weight of the seed and leaf area, oil ratio, oil yield. While highly significant positive of pheotypic correlation with leaf area and highly significant with seed weight, oil ratio and oil yield. High relative efficiency for selection index which included grain yield, weight of the seed (102.38) and selection index was showed also included of grain yield, weight of the seed and no. of disk (102.62) traits the genotype (1) EMPERADOR *S.F.1 was distingnished the best according to the two selection indexes. | ||
