Abstract | ||
Field experiment was conducted in the Fields of Agronomy Dept . College of Agriculture – univ - of Tikrit during the winter seasonfor the year (2012- 2013) in order to study the effect of spraying agrowth promoter (Disper Chlorophyl Gs) on the effectiveness and efficiency of Pallasherbicide . The factorial experiment was applied according to randomized complet block desgin (RCBD) in three replicates with two Factors ,First , rate of herbicide spraying in four rates ( without herbicide ,half the recommended amount recommended amount and twice the recommended amount ) Second factor was the different conc . of growth promoter ( Disper Chlorophyll GS) in four concentrations with out , half the recommended concentration , recommended concentration , and twice the recommended concentration .The wheat variety which used was ( cham 6) Results obtained as follows Spraying weeds herbicide (Pallas) reduce the weeds number significantly when sprayed at recmmenden and multiply rates compairing with others .Weeds plants dry weight is moral decreased when using the herbicide rates by ( 46.90% ) ,( 59.48% ) , ( 72.59% ) , respectively , compared to the treatment that did not use the herbicide . The wheat characters such as plant length ,tillers number ,spikes number , grains number / spike , weight of 1000 grains and grains yield increased when herbicide used .Spraying growth regulator to promote wheat growth after 10 days from weeds control by herbicide caused reducing the its activity to control weeds in spite of the characters ( grains number / spike biological yield and grain yield were not affected significantly. | ||
