Abstract | ||
A field experiment was conducted in the summer season 2009 in the fields of the Faculty of Agriculture - University of Tikrit , to study the effect of four levels of phosphate fertilizer (0 , 30 , 60 and 90 kg P2O5 / ha) and three concentrations of the element boron in the form of boric acid (H3BO3) , which contains 17 % of the element boron ( 0.0 , 1.0 and 1.5 kg P2O5 / ha) in the growth characters , seedcotton yield and its components by using randomized complete block design system panels dissident to study the characteristics of number of fruiting branches , plant height , earliness , the rate of weight boll, the number of bolls open / plant , seed index and seedcotton yield,were studied .The results indicated that the levels of phosphate fertilizer influenced ignificantly to the number of fruiting branches , plant height , earliness and seedcotton yield at the level of ( 90 kg P2O5 / ha) and in my recipe number bolls open / plant and seeds index gave the high values of the level ( 60 kg P2O5 / ha ), while positively affecting the concentrations of boron in seeds index in the level ( 1.0 kg b / ha) and in the number of fruiting branches and the number of bolls open / plant when sprayed by ( 1.5 kg b / ha).there was non significant influence for the interaction between studied traits . | ||
