Abstract | ||
In this work, Radon concentrations in different samples of toothpastes which are available in Iraqi markets were measured using CR-39 plastic nuclear track detector, it was also determine the concentrations of Radium and Uranium through counted the number of Radon tracks. It was found that the range of Radon, Radium and Uranium concentrations for ten samples of toothpaste between(6.03±0.70 - 101.08±7.44)Bq.m-3, (0.08±0.009 - 1.416±0.104) Bq.Kgm-1and(2.962±0.345-49.620±3.653)PPb respectively. The aim of this research is know the concentration rate of the radiated elements which found in toothpastes shall is exceed allowed limits worldly to avoid importing it. This study show that , all resulting from Radon, Radium and Uranium in selected samples were significantly lower than previous studies limits | ||
