Conducted the experiment in the fields of crops, most commonly in Salahuddin province, which included crops , sunflower , okra , eggplant , and plant wild capers (Shafalah ) to study the daily activity of the insect carpenter bees Xylocopa fenestrate F at different dates of the day ( 6:00 , 8:00 and 10:00 am and 12.00 and 2.00, 4.00 , 6.00 and 8.00 pm) . By estimating the population density of the insect and the study of their behaviors and the impact of some environmental factors in the activity. The results showed that the best date for the activity of the insects on flowers, sunflower and okra and eggplant is 12.00 , recording the highest number of insects visiting her movements as ranging number of insects / m 2 / min (1.5 to 2.3 insect ) and the number of insect / plant / min (1.5 to 2.3 insect) the number of insect / flower / min (0.8 - 1 insect ) and the number of transitions insect / plant / minute (2.1 - 3 insect ) and was higher activity transitions insect from Venus at ten in the morning ranged between (1.9 to 2.6) shift / flower / min . While the activity was higher for the insect capers 10.00 has affected environmental factors and the nature of the plant flowers open and the amount of nectar in the behavior and activity of the insect in the movement and visit the flowers during different hours . | ||
