Abstract | ||
The university is considered a complex organization the administrative structure of which follows, like other modern organizations, the bureaucratic pattern in which the responsibilities are divided according to hierarchical system among the different departments and offices working within a general frame of aims, policies, rules, and regulations. According to this pattern, the organizations involve power relationships according to which some persons are given power that authorizes them to give orders to others in the organization. In the university organization, the president practices power he acquires from the authority given to him by the rules of the official post he occupies at a specific time. Hence, this research will take the concept of power in the organizations as a central issue in the reading of the internal structure of the university organization and the administrative challenges facing it | ||
