Abstract | ||
The research has confirmed that the time and place context represents a tool for the cohesion of the text because it connects the text with its external context. There is no literary empty of this type. Cohesion, which the poet looks for, emerges from the correlation between the surrounding conditions with the elements of the creative text. The time context helps the elements of structure in depicting some of the rhetoric image features and the poet depended on them to make correlation among the poetic intention and the time incident. Therefore, the images are created within the poet's mind which he represented in special vision. Time for the poet could be expressed by two contradicted images (positive –negative). The night of meeting is a positive time which relieves the poet and the time could lengthen because of the departure of the beloved. Through that the poet tried to use the time indication to create textual relations that supported the rhetoric image. The research has revealed the indication of the place in the poetry of Al-Katib and its effect on the cohesion of the text in the rhetoric image therefore his poetry came in several types : lexicon, structural and artistic place. The research has attempted to search deeply in the rhetoric structure and to reveal the movement of place in the textual creation of the image which the poet used in the contextual correlation. So the places in his poetry came to create the image especially the image of Baghdad and other places that he was fond of. | ||
