Abstract | ||
The research deals with Iranian attitude to the Arab oil boycott in 1973 and haw Iran benefited from this boycott to strengthen its economicat, security, potitcal and military power. It increased the price of oil with opec non-Arabic countries. It ganed huge amaunts of money which it used to strengthen its pawer .It made alheines with Iarael and the west and refused to participate in the oil boycott against then . And more than that , it contributed to its failure through providing them with the oil they need . Iran continued to the main strong alhy to the United states and the west through the seventies tiu the end of the shahs regime in 1979. | ||
