| Became the transport sector in general and road transport in particular, his present condition , the source of a negative impact on the environmental and social levels has become one of the obstacles facing the sustainability of development in any country. Based on that it became necessary to develop a national plan of integrated management of the transport sector, and here we go that the application of sustainable transport contributes to accurately and much to alleviate traffic and encourage transport green by working and pressing for the adoption of a national strategy for transport. This research aims to find out some of the concepts of sustainable transport and display historical look to him, as well as viewing my view of some of the basic principles of specific concepts flowing into the core topic such as how to secure access and achieving social justice and what the integrated planning of transport , health and safety and the quality of the environment, as well as view some of the policies and measures to reach the sustainable transport , and in the field , has been selected area of a specific study has been configured , and the organization of a questionnaire to a random sample of the segment of the population of the study through the inclusion of (200) people from Mmokhtlv ages and levels of social and academic achievement who practice different types of business, where he was selected in random from some of the new shops of Baghdad , and has research found that anumber of conclusions and recommendations that are in the context of the search. | ||
