Abstract | ||
Steganography is the art and science of hiding informayion into digital mediator the purpose of identification, annotation, and copyright. In a way that prevents the outside observer from recognizing the present of hidden information. Steganography will play an increasingly important role in today's connected society, as the demand for covert communications and digital copyright protections continues to rise. A popular method for Steganography in digital images involves the use of least significant bits. In the current project a design and implementation for images steganography system based on Least Significant Bits (LSB)mechanism was presented and discussed. Different image files stored by using bitmap (.Bmp) format was utilized. Some auxiliary processes were suggested and investigated in order to recover some weak aspect inherent with the pure implementation pf stego-systems. Among the auxiliary processes is the hopping and stream ciphering algorithm. A new adaptive least-significant bit method was suggested' implemented and tested, the new method based on the idea of increasing the hiding rate due to the HVS-poor sensitivity. The results have indicating a good hiding performance. | ||
