Abstract | ||
In the late twentieth century a new term has emerged in the world economy called (Sustainable Development) has occupied an important place among researchers and those interested in the environment and decision-makers. They were numerous definitions of this term, but the main feature is his interest in continuing any development to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations. Based on the foregoing of this research was an attempt to shed light on this concept and to identify the dimensions and objectives and indicators as well as examine the role of regulatory agencies and the Office of Financial Supervision in the activation and consolidation of sustainable development indicators. To achieve the objectives of the research has been divided into five themes dealt with first axis Research Methodology The second axis has dealt with the concept and goals and the dimensions and indicators of sustainable development while addressing the third axis the contribution of the Office of Financial Supervision in the consolidation of the concept of sustainable development The fourth axis has dealt with the practical side. Either axis the last has been the most important conclusions reached by the research proposal as well as a number of recommendations. | ||
