Abstract | ||
In this work, samples of pure polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) doped with (KBr) were prepared using casting method. The effect of addition of potassium bromide concentrations on optical properties of polyvinyl alcohol have been studied in the wavelength range (200-800)nm. The absorption coefficient ,energy gap, refractive index, extinction coefficient and real and imaginary dielectric constants have been determined. The results show that the optical constants change with increase of potassium bromide concentration. | ||
