Abstract
Steganography is the most popular method for text hiding. In this paper, two techniques are proposed for strength the message security using image steganograohy. First technique is based on encoding the original message using 3DES algorithm. Second technique is based on using punctuation marks of a raw text to encode the output of the first technique to hide the secret message in an image file. On recipient side the image will desteganoized to reveal the cover text, and using its punctuation marks to get the text bits, and then we decode the Triple DES, to finally uncover the secret message
