Abstract | ||
conducted an epidemiological study on leishmaniasis in the province of Maysan in 2009-2010 and the relationship of this disease presence and the spread of insect carriers of the role of animal reservoir of the parasite. It has been shown through research that the type Ph.papatesi is the most common forms amounted to preparation 275 and the number of people Balchammanip skin rate was 78.27%, while the achieved Balchammanip Aalhacoip infection rate 21.23% has been mixed infection rates by age group and sex, where the highest incidence of Balchammanip obvious for for males age groups (5-15), it reached 39% and least in the age groups (55-65), it reached 2%, while for females the same age were the insect prefers ages to less than 5 years where 38% of injury Balchammania visceral insect was prefer between the ages (1-3) years, where the infection rates in comparison to other age groups is 51%.
