Abstract | ||
Hence this study aims at making (a comparative study between the standard method and the lecture method in the collection of the first grade students Department of Arabic Language Faculty of Education, University of Diyala in the subject of exchange). Aims of this study are:- 1 - To investigate uhich of these methods (standard and the lecture) is the best in achieving the Arabic language students/ Faculty of EducationAl_Asma'i - Diyala University. 2 - To investigate the effect of the sex variable in student achievement in the Arabic language who have been studied according to two methods (standard and lecture). In order to achieve these goals one of the researchers has applied his studies on two sections in the Department of Arabic Language - Faculty of Education Al-sma'i - Diyala University, section (b) The number (51) students, a study on according to the standard way and another section which is section(c) The number (52) students are taught according to the lecture method as the total sample (103) students. One of the researchers conducted the experiment at the beginning of the second semester of the academic year (2010 – 2011) At the end of the experiment the researcher has tested the students to know the effect of using one of two ways (standard and lecture) in the collection of students in the Department of Arabic Language and making a comparison between them. After conducting the experiment and analyze the results by statistical means the researchers have come number of conclusions, including:- 1 -The students are very poor in the section of conjugation. 2 - Use the lecture method has led to a negative impact on the performance of students. In light of these results researchers recommend a number of recommendations ,including: 1 - Teachers of conjugation subjects should use the standard method in teaching this subject. 2 - Use a variety methods in teaching this subjects, especially the standard one because this method suitable for the vocabulary of this subject and the nature of these students and their abilities. The researchers also propos to undertake a number of studies:- 1 - Making a comparative study between two methods instudying the same topics as the Arabic grammar. 2 - Writing researches and preparing thesis about the problems of teaching subjects of conjugation at the secondary,intermediate and preparatory stages.
