Abstract | ||
Objectives: The aim of this study is to assess the knowledge and practices of breast self-examination among a sample of Iraqi women. Methods: A sample of 300 women whose aged 16-53 years was subjected to a questionnaire designed according to clinic exit interview for the period from 1st November 2004 to 30th April 2005. Results: The study revealed that the percentage of women practicing breast self-examination is 32% and there was a significant relation between breast self-examination practice and the presence of warning signs.
