Abstract | ||
Study was conducted to investigate epidemiological Althalasmia disease in the province of karbala , the period from December 2006 until December 2007 , where the samples were examined for the General Board of the Children’s Hospital & Al-Hussainy general of Hospital in karbala Al-mukadissa , conducted tests and screening adherence microscopy and contains no blood and biochemical test . The infected of thalassemia , the highest rate in rural areas , where 76.25% and the rate of infected is lower in cities wish a 23.75% and the state of living in relationship with the spread of the disease , where the highest rate of infection in patients who are living their medium with a 62.5% rate of infection and less would be their a very good living with an incidence of 6.25%. The proportion of females over a male , where the ratio is 62.5 in the females while in males 37.5% we also note the differences in incidence for different age groups where the highest rate of injury between the age group 10-20 years with an incidence of 62.5% and a low rate of infection is the age group where over 60 , 3.125% | ||
