Abstract | ||
This study was conducted by using 24 Awassi ewes were chosen randomly from sheep flock at Al-rasheida station, Mousl, at same age(3-4 years) and weights 51±3 kg. The ewes were divided into three equal groups after weaning their lambs ,and these groups were fed on three rations contain same crude protein(12%) and metabolizable energy(2678 Kcal/kg.feed) but different in Fenugreek seeds percentage (0,1.5 and 3%) for forty nine days .The effect of using different percentages of Fenugreek seeds and periods were studied on some biochemical parameters(concentration of total protein ,globulin ,albumin , glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol and liver enzymes ALT,AST) in blood serum. The result indicated that concentration of total serum protein ,globulin ,albumin , glucose, ALT and AST were increased significantly (P<0.05) , while triglycerides and cholesterol percentage were decreased significantly (P<0.05) by increasing the percentage of Fenugreek seeds in ration. while collecting blood periods has non significantly affect all studied characteristics . | ||
