A hemps were made to evaluate the addition of probiotic to the diet of carp, Cyprinus carpio L. The probiotic contains Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bacillus subtilis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae taken from broilers ceca, isolated and cultivated on soyabean and corn extract media. Two experiment were conducted : In the first experiment different levels of probiotics were added to a diet contains 25% protein. These levels were 0 (T1), 5 (T2), 7.5 (T3), 12 (T4), 14 (T5) gm/Kgm of diet. Respeciuly In the second experiment, the diet contained only 5% of protein and the same percentages of probiotic were added to the diet as in first experiment respeciuly . Results showed that growth parameters: PD (Protein Deposit) and PER (Protein Effeciency Ratio) were highly significant (P<0.05) in 0 gm/Kgm of probiotic dite. (T1) compared with added probiotic treatments and no differences or appeared in CF (Condition Factor) among all treatments in experiment 1. Results of experiment 2 showed that PD and PER were highly significant if 5 gm/ Kgm of probiotic added to diet (T2) which were 36.97 and 1.47 respectively, T3 and T4 were in the second category then T5 and T1 recorded the lowest PD and PER. No significant differences were recorded in the CF among all treatments in experiment 2 . Results showed that growth was good when 5 % of probiotic was added to a low levels protein diet (5 % protein), this finding is very essential since the price of the diet was declined. | ||
